My Ice Machine Isn’t Dispensing Cold Water Or Ice Cubes?

If nothing is coming from your ice machine, that could be because the ice actually is not there in the container. If you find that the ice dispenser is jammed, you will want to try and get rid of it.
Another place to check is in the ice tray itself, which also may get clogged with time. If this happens, take off the ice tray, wipe it down with a hand, and use hot water to get rid of any debris or ice.

You will also want to inspect the dispenser, if you do not see any ice pieces clearly visible in the container. Remove the bin, put a towel underneath the ice dispenser, and run hot water over the ice molds until any built-up ice shards are melting.

A bit of hot water (with the towel prepared for mopping) will melt any ice scum. Place the folded towel into the space where the ice outlet is located on the refrigerator door, and slowly run a gallon of hot water along the interior of the outlet while leaving the door open. Next, melt the ice by hand using something warm, such as a clothes dryer or a heat lamp, or pouring hot water over it, then wait for it to all melt. With a water pipe-cleaning kit, carefully refill your water pipe with warm water to help the ice melt.

To clean ice-covered water lines, you will have to melt ice from the inside. To fix the problem and quickly get your water line free of blockages, you are going to have to melt this ice.

If your water supply line is fine, and your fill pipe is not the culprit in the problem of the ice dispenser not dispensing, then your next step is to test your electrical connections. While you have access to the water intake valve and the water supply lines, it is good to check water pressure, which is also a common reason for ice maker problems. Just like with a trash can, your ice scoop is equally likely to get stuck as well, as you push on the lever to find no ice coming out. Usually, your first instinct when you push the lever and see that nothing is coming out is to open up your cooler and inspect the bin.
