My Freezer Might Be Getting Too Cold?

The thermistor is critical to the operation of the fans, compressor, and damper, so if the thermistor is faulty, it does not signal the electronic control board to turn off the motors, so the freezer will get too cold and get very cold.
Reach your hand into the freezer and see if you can feel cold air coming out of the freezer. Too much stuff inside will restrict the airflow inside the appliance, and too little will cause all the cold air to escape from the appliance every time it is turned on. If the freezer temperature is normal, set the recommended temperature to 0 degrees Fahrenheit (-18 degrees Celsius).
