My Dishwasher Lights Are On But It Won’t Start?

When you press that “Start” button on the dishwasher, you expect it to light instantly and begin humming. When you press the Start/Reset button, after your GE dishwasher has already started the cycle — you see that the Start light flashes.

When start is happening, the controls on the GE dishwasher are not responsive, and a couple of buttons also begin to blink when you push on them. If the motor startup relay is not working, the rest of the dishwasher will not receive a “Go” signal from the control panel.
