Lower the control lever of the ice maker again and wait about 10 seconds until the solenoid activates and fills the mold with water. Wait three to four hours for the ice to freeze and see if the ice is pushed out.
Turn on the refrigerator and listen to the sound of water to fill up the ice mold. Then turn on the power and listen to the sound of water in the ice cube tray. Remove the ice maker cover and check how much water enters the ice cube tray during each cycle.
