If you find that your oven is not evenly cooking, the oven thermostat may need to be adjusted to reflect the temperature set. If a component does not work or does not communicate with the oven, temperature fluctuations can lead to uneven cooking. If your oven cooks or bakes your food evenly, it may need a temperature calibration.

A common reason that electric stoves do not cook evenly is a defective temperature sensor. Poor oven calibration, an error in the temperature sensor or both can be to blame for your oven not baking evenly. Sensors on the control panel regulate the temperature of the oven, so it is possible that it is the cause of uneven baking.

If you set your oven to a certain temperature, the degree of heat varies during cooking. If you set a specific oven temperature, the actual internal temperature also fluctuates during cooking.

The reason your oven won’t cook your food evenly is because your stove has trouble maintaining the temperature to which you set it. If the oven is too hot or too cold for the temperature you set, you may find that your hot tub or electric oven does not bake evenly.

Some stoves that do not heat evenly can be due to a faulty temperature sensor. A faulty heating element that does not heat up properly can be the cause of temperature problems in the furnace.

The furnace should heat the contents of the lower and upper heating elements. A dirty oven interior prevents the radiant element from heating the oven properly and the oven from cooking properly. If your oven does not cook properly because it does not heat up in this way, you have a broken baking element.

If the lower or upper heating elements are not heated evenly and the oven produces undercooked food, it is time to fix problems. If the oven does not bake evenly, improper preheating can result in the food being brown at the top and undercooked at the bottom. When an oven that cooks evenly masquerades as a cooking flaw, some foods can appear exaggerated and others raw.

If you use a dark pan, you should adjust the oven temperature during cooking. Once the temperature is set, the heat should be evenly distributed in the oven to achieve perfect baking results.

In an electric oven the baking element is responsible for heating the oven so that your food cooks at a constant temperature. If your oven has an electric heating element, baking provides 90% of the heat for baking and the broiler the rest for cooking. If a baking element starts to fail or you notice that your oven is not heating correctly, you need to replace it with a new part.

If your oven or stove slowly starts to boil things, burns them crispy and doesn’t seem to heat them up as it used to, you may have broken or worn out a component in your oven / stove that needs to be replaced. Check out the seven best reasons why ovens cook poorly and see if you can find your solution. If your new oven bakes your food well, your problem could be simple: it simply doesn’t stand up to the level.
